Learning Goal: Students will understand Astronomy
Main activity: Students went over last week’s packets on the Sun and Solar System. The class watched “Look to the Stars” video and completed the pink worksheet packet. The class received 2 Course Review Sheets for Earth Science Final Exam.
Closure: The Astronomy concepts will be reinforced.
HW: Complete pink worksheet packet and Transparency 46 on the Solar System. Study packets for quiz on the Solar System and stars tomorrow.

Learning Goal: Students will understand Astronomy
Main activity: The class went over the “Look to the Stars” pink packet and took the (yellow) quiz on Sun, Solar System and Stars packets. The class received the pink packet for tomorrow’s lab on the Size of the Solar system.
Closure: The Astronomy concepts will be reinforced.
HW: Complete Chart 1 in the Lab Packet.
