Learning Goal: Students will understand Human Effect on Water
Main Activity: One group presented Semester II project. Students learned about Groundwater and completed the pink worksheet on Groundwater, Study Guide, p 34, both sides
HW: Complete the pink worksheet started in class. Continue to take data for “Down the Drain” Lab. All vocab from vocab sheet should be complete.

Main activity: One group presented Semester II project. The class discussed sources of Ocean Pollution and did transparency 36 worksheet.
HW: Continue to take data for “Down the Drain” Lab.

Learning Goal: Students will understand Human Effect on Water
Main activity: : One group presented Semester II project. Students completed the green worksheet on Pollution and Marine Life.
Closure: Human Effect on Weather concepts will be reinforced.
HW: Continue to take data for “Down the Drain” Lab. Study for Unit 5 Vocab Quiz tomorrow.

Learning Goal: Students will understand the Human Effect on Water
Main activity: One group presented Semester II project. Students brought in all their “Down the Drain” Water Usage Survey data sheets and handed them in. Students took the Unit 5 Vocab Quiz, watched the “Water Source of Life” Video and answered questions on the worksheet.
HW: Complete “Down the Drain” data sheets if not yet complete.

Learning Goal: Students will understand Human Effect on Water
Main Activity: One group presented Semester II project. The class tallied up all “Down the Drain” data sheets and entered data for their entire household. A class average water use was calculated and uploaded to the Stevens Institute of Technology Website Collaborative Project
HW: Complete any missing assignments.
